The Thomas Hammer Friday Night Street Fair has something for everyone. Situated in the heart of downtown Pullman, the Street Fair features free lentil chili, live entertainment, fun games and activities, not to mention vendors selling their wares and a local microbrew tasting tent for those over 21.
Starting at 5 p.m. and continuing throughout the evening, the Big Bowl of Lentil Chili serves free chili to the festival attendees, sponsored by Washington State University. Over 350 gallons of tasty and nutritious chili flows from the giant stainless-steel bowl, the centerpiece of Friday’s activities.
You’ll find food from cotton candy to egg rolls, arts & crafts, and commemorative National Lentil Festival items on the vendor lane. Kids can try the Castle Bouncer or the inflatable obstacle course provided by Sun Rental, and many other activities in the Children’s Area.
For the 21 and older crowd, refresh yourself at the Microbrew Tasting Tent and take in the sights and sounds of the Festival. It will be easy to find right next to the Main Stage!
