We think lentils are awesome. Here you will find all kinds of cool facts that you probably never knew about our humble little legume. This is also a great place to find a few example recipes. There are more in our cookbooklet that we publish every year but this will give you a little taste of what is in store at this year’s Legendary Lentil Cook-off.

We start planning for the National Lentil Festival one month after it is finished. Our fantastic committee works hard to come up with new ideas and find exciting additions to the Festival. Keep up with what’s going on in the news section or follow our blog! Because we work on this Festival all year long, we are happy to boast many awards from the Washington Festivals and Events Association and the International Festivals and Events Association.
