Please read through the entire application carefully. Food vendor booth space will be assigned based on the appeal of your lentil dish and overall value to the festival. Notification of acceptance to the festival will be done prior to June 23, 2017. Before you go on, make sure you have the following: A copy of your proof of insurance listing the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, City of Pullman, Washington State University and the National Lentil Festival as additionally insured Washington State UBI number Name and photo of your lentil dish These items will be required before you will be allowed to submit your application. Estimated attendance over two days is 30,000 people. Please review the entire application carefully paying attention to deadlines and details. Submit the completed application along with the application fee to the National Lentil Festival no later than 5:00pm, Friday, July 24, 2017. Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Food vendors of all varieties are welcome to participate. All food vendors are REQUIRED to serve a product that includes lentils in some way and to list that dish on your booth display.Get creative! Space is limited and will be assigned based on the appeal of the lentil dish and overall value to the festival. Location Reaney Park 690 NE Reaney Way Pullman, WA 99163 Vendor Fees Vendors will be charged $175 plus 10% of gross sales for all food court booths. No refunds after June 16, 2017. Collection of Washington State sales tax is the responsibility of the vendor. All food booth reservations are for two days. No single day space available. Incomplete applications will NOT be accepted to hold a space. A complete application includes the following: ___Completed Application Form with: - WA State UBI Number - Lentil Dish - Proof of insurance - faxes or emails from insurance companies are not acceptable -Application fee Exhibitor check-in is from 12pm - 4pm on Friday August 18. Exhibitors who have not checked in by 4pm will not be allowed to participate in the festival and there will be no refunds. Booth spaces are 10’ wide by 10’ deep (open only on one side). Vendors may buy additional booth space if desired. Adherence to the 10’ x 10’ configuration will be strictly enforced - NO ROAMING ALLOWED. All sales must be confined to booth space. All vendors will be responsible for providing and setting up their own booths including tables, chairs, canopies, etc. Vehicles will only be allowed to pull into the booth area for 10 minutes for unloading. All vehicles must be out of the booth area by 4:30pm. No exceptions. Plan to bring all items in boxes and totes that can be easily unloaded and stacked at your booth while you set-up. Event takes place from 5pm to 10pm Friday and 11am to 5pm on Saturday. No early closures. Vendors will be allowed into the booth site to load and unload only, limited parking during the day will be at another location. For safety reasons, vehicles are not allowed on the festival grounds between 4pm and 11pm on Friday OR 10am and 5pm on Saturday. Please plan accordingly by having staff and totes at your booth space to help set up and close down. I have read the previous rules and will follow them. Each voucher is valued at $10. The vouchers can only be used at the festival by Food Vendors who agree to these terms. If you would like to participate, instead of paying the full 10% of sales back to us after the festival, you pay 10% and subtract each $10 voucher out of the total. YOU MUST RETURN THE VOUCHERS WITH YOUR CHECK TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT. The pricing rate for this area is the same. This is a juried process done by the festival. You will be notified on the committee's decision via email a minimum of four weeks before the festival. Washington State UBI Number*The State of Washington Department of Revenue asks that all special events provide them a list of vendors along with their State of Washington Unified Business Identification (UBI) number. If you do not have one, a temporary UBI number can be issued to you free of charge by going online to www.dor.wa.gov and click on DOING BUSINESS – under Business Type click on Temporary Businesses, then click Register Online. You may also call 1-800-647-7706 and go to Tax Services.Proof of InsuranceThe Contractor (vendor) agrees to provide a business or personal liability insurance policy with a minimum limit of $300,000 General Liability and $300,000 Property Damage with the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, City of Pullman and the National Lentil Festival listed as “Additional Insured.” Food vendors must provide a business or personal liability insurance policy with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 General Liability and $1,000,000 Property Damage with the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, City of Pullman, Washington State University, and the National Lentil Festival listed as “Additional Insured.” In the event that the National Lentil Festival determines items displayed and or sold by the Contractor represent an additional risk to National Lentil Festival and/or purchasers, an increase in the amount of coverage may be requested at the festival’s discretion. Any exceptions must be approved by the National Lentil Festival and duly noted on this application.
